Songs from the 60s and 70s — Mostly Motown was so well received another volume was developed to celebrate classic rhythm & blues and soul of the 60s and 70s. This second volume features music by the shining stars of Motown like The Temptations and the Jackson 5 as well as some of the underrated hit makers who shined after leaving the label. In addition, there are a few highlights from the Stax, Philles and Chess labels including Otis Redding, The Ronettes and Etta James.

Songs from the 1930s thru the 90s — This special edition of the Silver Fox Songs Series showcase FROM JAZZ TO SOUL, features a collection of jazz and soul favorites that honors the supreme human emotion — LOVE. From romantic to universal love, there’s something for everyone be it new love, old love, tried love, or true love.
These showcases feature the music of one or two music icons. The songs performed are done so to celebrate, not imitate, the music of those who made them famous. The songs featured highlight signature tunes, fan favorites and special requests.
AN EVENING WITH LADY DAY
Standards from the 30s, 40s and 50s — celebrating the music of Billie Holiday. This is a chronological sojourn through the career of Lady Day from her first recording session with the Teddy Wilson Orchestra through the autobiographical hit “Lady Sings The Blues.” The songs list also includes “God Bless The Child,” “Strange Fruit,” and “Good Morning Heartache,” among others. This showcase was client commissioned for the centennial anniversary of her birth on April 7, 2015.
HAIL TO THE QUEEN
Songs from the 60s through the 80s — celebrating the music of Aretha Franklin. Homage is paid to the “Queen of Soul” by performing some of her most successful hits. These a songs that firmly keep her one of the most celebrated female artists of all time. The song list includes: “Respect,” “Natural Woman,” “Think,” “Spanish Harlem,” and “Freeway of Love.”
IN THE KEY OF STEVIE
Songs from the 60s through the 80s — celebrating the music of Stevie Wonder. Groove along on a journey from his early start as a child prodigy on the Motown record label to his commercial success as a prolific and genre-shaping composer and performer. Songs featured include hits: “Uptight, Everything’s Alright”, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I’m Yours”, “You Are The Sunshine Of My Life,” and “”I Just Called To Say I Love You” as well as hits written for other famous performers.

Songs from the 40s through the 90s — This showcase celebrates the UNFORGETTABLE music of world-renowned crooner and pianist, Nat “King” Cole and his Grammy-winning daughter, Natalie Cole. The Cole family legacy begins with the classic standards that made Nat Cole a household name in the 50s, followed by the 70s soul hits that allowed Natalie Cole to stake a claim all her own, then finally returning to the virtual duos that won the hearts of fans across the world in the 90s. Songs featured include: “Nature Boy”, “L-O-V-E”, “When I Fall In Love”, “This Will Be”, “I’ve Got Love On My Mind”, and “Unforgettable”.

Songs from the 30s through the 60s — celebrating the music of “Chairman of the Board,” Frank Sinatra. This showcase includes songs by one of the most popular and influential musical artists of the 20th century with a career spanning more than 50 years. Featured songs: “Night & Day,” All The Way,” “Fly Me To The Moon,” “Summer Wind,” and “My Way.” This showcase was client commissioned for the centennial anniversary of his birth on December 12, 2015.
TO ETTA WITH LOVE
Blues, R&B, and Pop from the 50s through the 90s — TO ETTA WITH LOVE pays homage to the fabulous life and genre-crossing music of the “Matriarch of R&B,” Miss Etta James. Denét and her trio perform signature tunes like “Roll With Me Henry”, “At Last”, and “Something’s Got A Hold On Me”. In addition, they highlight Etta’s arrangements of hits made famous by Janis Joplin, Marvin Gaye and The Temptations.
