Welcome to the home of The Silver Fox Songs Series, a performance series specifically developed with older adult populations in mind. The goal is to improve their quality of life by providing professional live music to facilities and organizations that celebrate them. Each showcase features a collection of jazz and/or soul standards from the 1930s through the 1960s, paying tribute to song stylists from Ella Fitzgerald and Aretha Franklin. Founder and performer Rhonda Denét presents her unique interpretations of these classic songs accompanied by the Silver Fox Songs Duo/Trio.
From start to finish, every performance is sure to have audiences swaying to the music or grabbing the hand of someone close to glide across the floor. Through the music, the magic, and the message, there is something for everyone.
Performances are currently being booked for public and private events throughout the New York Metropolitan area. Locations include nursing and rehabilitation centers, retirement communities, independent and assisted living complexes, senior centers, and libraries.
